Wondering who we are?
Well, we are the Safari Family - Isabelle Tschugmall and Julien Biget plus our two little explorers, Luan and Yanoh.
We're professional safari guides living life close to the ground — mostly between Switzerland and Botswana, though nothing stops us from going wherever the road (or the bush track) leads. The African continent is where we fell in love, both with each other and with the wild places that keep calling us back.
Our hearts, and our home, are wherever the four of us are together. We've built our lives around sharing that feeling — the one that hits you the moment you're out there, engine off, watching the light change over the delta or the plains, and everything else falls away.
Beyond this little corner of the internet, our safari work lives on through Lerato Adventures, our bespoke safari travel company, and Kwatale Collection, the camp we're building on concession NG43 in Botswana's Okavango Delta, opening in 2027. Isabelle also wrote about the leap from finance to the bush in her book, Einfach Safari — Unterwegs in zwei Welten.
